Mike "Matej" Dziak, age 86, passed away on September 10, 2025. He was born on January 14, 1939, in Kolačkov, Slovakia to the late Jan and Aloyzia Dziak. He is survived by his beloved daughters Rozena, Ashley, and Vera; treasured grandchildren Amanda, Gabrielle, Aiden, Avarie, Arlo and great-grandchildren D'Angelo, Nevaeh, and Axel; dear brothers Jozef, Cyril, and Metod.

Mike is preceded in death by his daughter Angelina Mays, great-granddaughter Nyah, and sisters Karoline, Ruzena, Alojzia, Antonia

Mike left Czechoslovakia in August 1969 and arrived to the United States in 1971. He was a fearless risk taker willing to leave his country, family, and everything he knew for a better life for himself and his children. Mike proudly worked as a diesel mechanic for 35 years, bragging that he worked for 36 hours straight to provide for his family. He was a very giving, passionate man, attending church and flea markets. He also enjoyed his dogs and breaking horses which he did in Slovakia and in the United States. Most importantly, he cherished his grandchildren and family. He will be dearly missed by all.
