He received many awards over the decades and brought joy to all who had the privilege of seeing him bring every role to life in his own special way. Most recently, Mitch was cast as Juror #Three in 12 Angry Men at Blank Canvas Theater, Colonial Nathan Jessup in A Few Good Men at Hudson Players, with his final production at Weathervane Theater in the role of Chief Inspector Hubbard in Dial M for Murder. The lasting friendships and memories from those years were held very dear to him.

The Joyces and his Midwest family meant so much to him.
Mitch had just received his Lifetime Membership in the American Motorcycle Association. He shared a passion for riding that was shared by his father when Mitch was 8, he was hooked from that day forward. He so enjoyed the comradery and giving back to those in need during countless charity rides and events. Mitch's adventurous spirit led him to travel and visit many amazing places, including Ireland, Australia, as well as the love for the Riviera Maya, where he, his wife and "their boys" would travel together over the last 18 years.
Mitch was predeceased by his parents, William and Beverley Manthey, as well as his baby sister, Heather Manthey, whom he loved dearly.
Mitch is survived by the love of his life- his wife, Lisa, her children, Travis (Kellie), Kyle (Alex), and their fur babies. His surviving siblings, Laurrie (John) and Bob (Pam) held a special place in his heart, and he cherished time spent with them. He had countless nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he adored.
Mitch will be interned at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina, Ohio at a private service with his immediate family later. The family will be planning a celebration of life at a date/time to be determined soon. He will be forever honored, loved, and missed by all who had the privilege of knowing/loving him.
