Dr. Reddy's Livestream

Dr. Nukala Ranadheer Reddy, a cherished figure in the lives of many, peacefully passed away on August 9, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on April 9, 1945, in Chillam Cherla, India, Dr. Reddy was the beloved son of the late N. Raghuver and Kousalya Reddy. A man of deep compassion and dedication, he devoted his life to the health and well-being of others through his work as a psychiatrist, serving his community in Barberton from 1985 until his retirement in 2014. 

Throughout his life, Dr. Reddy found joy in the simple pleasures of nature and the arts. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing table tennis in his youth, and took great delight in the birds that graced his yard—where he maintained numerous bird feeders. His love for the beauty of nature was complemented by his appreciation for classical music, a passion that resonated with his love for world news and history. He was a lifelong learner, having taught himself Spanish, which highlighted his intellectual curiosity and commitment to understanding the world around him. 

Dr. Reddy is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Renuka (Cheruku) Reddy, with whom he shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his children, Dr. Arjun (Denise) Reddy, Dr. Aparna Reddy, and Amit (Stefanie) Reddy, as well as his cherished grandson, Noah Reddy, and step-grandsons, Caeden and Avery Kurtz. His memory will live on in the hearts of his siblings, Sabitha Devi Gaddam, N. Dwaraknath (Sucharita) Reddy, and N. Gautham (Shoba) Reddy, and in the reminiscences of numerous nieces and nephews whose lives he touched.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Sulochana Budithipaty.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 9 to 10 am at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, OH 44212, with the funeral service beginning at 10 am.
