Pamela A. Moran-Benedict

Pamela A. Moran-Benedict, age 75, passed away on October 2, 2026, in Strongsville, Ohio. She was born June 14, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late John and Marjorie (Yeager) Moran.

Pamela was a 1969 graduate of Medina High School and devoted much of her life to being a homemaker and caring for those she loved. Family was at the heart of Pamela’s life, and she will be remembered for the love and care she gave so freely to those closest to her. Pamela had a special love for music, particularly the songs of Elvis Presley and classic country music.

Pamela was the beloved wife of the late David A. Benedict, to whom she was married for 51 years until his passing in 2022. She is survived by her children, Bob (Elizabeth) Benedict, Lisa Benedict, and Helen McWilliams; her grandchildren, Anna Bowman, Carl Bowman, and Randy Lee Bowman; her sisters, Michelle Carrick and Kathleen (Zak) Dillon; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In addition to her husband and parents, Pamela was preceded in death by her siblings, Ron Dawson, Terry Dawson, Jack Moran, and Shelby Reyes.

Guests are welcome to pay respects on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00 pm at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick. A funeral service will take place at 12:00 pm. Pamela will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina.
