Patricia Kay Hrnchar, 76, of Medina, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026. Pat was born on May 7, 1949, in Wichita, KS, the daughter of the late Bernard and Katherine (Garrity) Howe.
Pat grew up in Wichita, KS and graduated from Wichita South High School in 1967. She and her late husband, Paul, traveled the world together, including trips to Las Vegas and Hawaii. They also spent many summers in Sandusky, where they enjoyed boating. Spending time with her family was most important to her. Her life literally revolved around her family.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hrnchar in 2017 and sisters, Carol Gammon and Mary Bell.
She is survived by her loving children, Paul (Michelle) Hrnchar, Scott Hrnchar, Katie (Steve) Parker, and Julie (Brett) Lukovski; former daughter-in-law, Lori Hrnchar; grandchildren, Zachary, Ellie, and Luke Parker, Scott, Isabella and Jackson Hrnchar, and Mitchell and Kyle Lukovski; brothers, Richard (Diane) Howe and Jim Howe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Waite Funeral Home: 765 N. Court Street, Medina, OH 44256 on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 5-7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 11 am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Medina. Interment will follow at Hope Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital – https://stjude.org.
