Patricia Slick

Patricia “Pat” Irene Slick (nee Farnsworth) passed away on August 16, 2026. Pat was born April 15, 1934, to Lewis and Emma Pauline (Foust) Farnsworth; the fourth of seven children.

Pat graduated from Lodi High School in 1952. Pat retired in 2010 as an independent sales representative for the A.I Root company for 30 years, keeping the churches in Florida well stocked.

Pat enjoyed trips to the beach and a good book. If you could not find Pat in the house, she was on a long walk or tending to her garden. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Pat will be dearly missed by her daughter Janet (Mike) Fender of Gainesville, FL, son Rick (Teri) Schempp of Medina, son Dave Schempp of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren Alan (Kristie) Schempp, Rachael (Austin) Grubb, Daniel Schempp (Ashley Holecko), Kara Fender, Ericka Schempp (fiancée, Corey Hill); great-grandchildren Kayla Schempp, Ethan Schempp, and Thomas Grubb.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Slick, her parents, and six siblings.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation for the compassion and care shown to Pat by the dedicated staff of Cypress Hospice and Traditions of Medina.

At Pat’s request there will be no service. To honor Pat, raise a glass and share a good dessert!
