Patricia Linda (Kienast)Thompson, age 62, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023, in Medina, Ohio with her husband at her side. She was born on August 2, 1959, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to the late Guenter and Margaret (Fischer) Kienast.

Patricia attended Wooster College and went on to teach 4 ^th grade with Strongsville City Schools at Muraski until her retirement in 2017. Patricia enjoyed life; she loved traveling and also loved to walk. She especially loved to spend time with her friends. But most of all, she cherished spending time with her entire family, both young and old.

She is survived by her husband of 12 years, David H. Thompson; sons, Jeremy (Lea) Coyne of Madison, WI and Ryan Coyne of Fairview Park, OH; stepdaughters, Amy Henry of El Granada, CA and Emily (Chris) Jackman of Charleston, SC; stepson, Christopher (Jessica) Thompson of Lancaster, OH; step grandsons, Malcom Henry and Mason Thompson; step granddaughters, Sierra Lopez, Addyson Thompson, Harper Jackman, and Everly Jackman; sister, Julie (Jeff) Blake of Sheffield, MA; and brother, Christian Kienast of Medina, OH; along with a lifetime of collected friends.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Guenter Kienast and Margaret (Fischer)Von Sherwald.

The family are planning services to celebrate Patricia's life later in the summer. However, in lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia's memory may be made to Hospice of Western Reserve, 5075 Windfall Road, Medina, OH 44256.
