Patrick Pinkerton, age 78, of Medina, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Born April 16, 1947, in Akron, Ohio, Patrick was the beloved son of Ernest "Pinky" Pinkerton and Ethel May Pinkerton. A proud graduate of Medina High School, he went on to study at the University of Akron before dedicating his life to service in many forms.

Patrick served his country with honor as a U.S. Veteran of Foreign War, earning both the Bronze Star for Bravery and the Saint Award for Humanitarian Efforts. Following his military service, he worked as a United States Letter Carrier, and answered a deeper calling as an ordained minister and chaplain, offering spiritual support and kindness to those in need.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Beverly Pinkerton; his son, Josh Pinkerton, and daughter-in-law, Ashley Pinkerton; and his cherished granddaughters, Erin and Willow Pinkerton.

Patrick was a man of deep faith, a gifted writer, and a passionate musician. His warmth, courage, and unwavering compassion left a lasting imprint on all who knew him.

Patrick will be interred with Military Honors on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 2:45 PM, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273.  Please meet at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N Court St, Medina, OH 44256, at 1:45 PM to join the funeral procession to the cemetery.
