Paul "Bear" David Fields, age 46 of Medina, passed away surrounded by his family on March 27, 2018. He was born on July 6, 1971 in Angeles City in the Philippine islands, and adopted when he was ten weeks old.
Paul is survived by his parents James and Diane (nee Nichols) Fields; loving wife of 21 years, Shaune (nee Crane) Fields; daughter Eliza Rose Mary Fields; brother Douglas A.(Andrea) Fields of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; sister Jill R. Fields of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Bear was known for his sense of humor, stories he told, and his positivity that he took on during his battle with cancer. Special thanks to his supportive caregivers, friends, and family. Team Bear agrees that CANCER SUCKS!
Two Celebration of Life Services will be held. One on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 6:00pm at the Medina church of Christ, 295 Forest Meadows Drive, Medina, Ohio. The second will be held at Holiday Park church of Christ, 1510 Abers Creek Road, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 4:00pm.
Due to family allergies, in lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made in Bear's name to Medina Hospital Foundation (to cancer services).
