Pauline R. Hosey, 95 of Medina, passed away October 27, 2025.  She was born in Centralia, West Virginia to the late Elliott and Louvernia (Gibson) Ware.  Pauline worked at Latex in Chippewa and later "ran the kitchen" at RPM International in Medina.

She enjoyed traveling with her good friends and was an avid reader. Pauline was a talented cook and never passed up a good meal.  She loved the times she spent with Portia, acting like teenagers at Ponderosa Park in Salem, Ohio, to see Conway Twitty.

Pauline is survived by her children Carl Hosey (Sandra), Patricia Cottrell (James), Michael Hosey (Jessica), son-in-law Donald Stout, daughter-in-law Ruth Hosey; grandchildren Eric Stout (Sheila), Robin Hosey, Michael Hosey, Kylie Hosey, Jason Hosey, Cindy Hosey (Eric Sauers), Lorrie Bonica (Michael), Michael Cottrell (Carol); great-grandchildren Riley Stout, Corbin Hosey, Aiden Hosey, Chelsea Casto, Cassie Cottrell; great-great-granddaughter Allison Brown; numerous nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of collected friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Karen Hosey-Stout, son Donald Hosey; sisters Mabel Belknap, Orpha Mae Mace and Mildred Ware; brother Carl Ware and several nieces and nephews.

Although her stay was brief at JAG Healthcare in Burbank, Ohio, the family would like to thank the staff for her care.

The family will receive friends from 4-6:00 pm, Monday, November 3, 2025, at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina 44256.  A memorial service will immediately follow at 6:00 pm, Monday, at the funeral home.  She will be laid to rest privately at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Pauline's memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 5075 Windfall Rd., Medina, OH 44256. Please feel free to dress casually as this is the family's wish.
