Pearl Anvus Grimes, age 78, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on April 7, 2025. She was born to the late Kenton Charles and Daisy Dell (Shrewsbury) Grimes on September 25, 1946, in Beckley, West Virginia. Pearl was a hard worker and retired from custodial work for the Cleveland School Board. She loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren.

Pearl is survived by her loving daughter, Dawn Adkins; her cherished grandchildren, C.J., Noah, and Savannah Adkins; her sister, Inis Lyons; her brothers, Ira Grimes, William Grimes, Lloyd Grimes, Johnny Grimes (Linda) and Terry Grimes (Barbara); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Elvis Lee Grimes; her brothers, Jack, Jake, and Charlie; and her sisters, Wanda, Mary, and Thelma.
