Phillip Merle Nadenbush, 79, of Parma Heights, Ohio, passed away on January 31, 2026. Phil was born March 13, 1946, in Cumberland, Maryland, to the late Phillip Roy and Dorothy Jean (Kagy) Nadenbush. He was a proud United States Navy Veteran, serving honorably as a radio signalman.

Phil was the loving husband of Colleen Gallagher-Nadenbush, who survives him. He was a devoted father to Angela (Scott) Dauenhauer and Trudy (George) Hutzler, and a cherished grandfather to Geoanna Hutzler, Andrea (Derrick) Bowman, George Anthony Hutzler, Jackson Dauenhauer, and Jacob Dauenhauer. He was also a proud great-grandfather to William Bowman and Atlas Bowman. Phil was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Steve Nadenbush.

Known affectionately by his grandchildren as "Popa Phil," he was truly full of heart—a man with an adventurous spirit and an unforgettable personality. Phil loved life and was always willing to try just about anything. His many interests included RC racing, fishing, camping, boating, Harley riding, roller skating, and drag racing. He was also a certified scuba diver, a ham radio operator, and a skilled outdoorsman.

Above all else, Phil loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all of his heart and soul and will be remembered for his big heart, his generosity, and the way he deeply loved and spoiled his grandchildren. He treated his daughters like princesses—especially on their birthdays—and leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and loyalty.

The family will welcome guests from 2:00 to 3:00 pm on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 3:00 pm.
