Ralph William
Bunch
April 28, 1933 – March 2, 2026
Ralph William Bunch, better known as "Pa Bunch", went home to be with his Savior on March 2, 2026, and was reunited with his beloved wife, Wanda, and family. Pa lived his 92 years on Earth in service to others and telling people about his Lord.
Born in Clinchmore, Tennessee, on April 28, 1933, to the late Lorenza and Alva (Griffith) Bunch, Pa relocated to northeast Ohio to find a better way of life for himself. In addition to better employment opportunities, he also met the love of his life, Wanda (Braden), and married her on June 28, 1957. They raised their family in Medina, Ohio, and were active members of their church. Pa retired from General Motors after many years of dedicated service. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, and helping others, but most of all, spending time with his "people".
He is survived by sons Arnie (Brenda) and Stan (Jeannie) Bunch; grandchildren Erin (Jason) Pemberton, Dustin (Rebecka), James (Katie), Brittany Schumaker, Hannah, Alex (Brooke), and Addison ("Meanie") Bunch; great-grandchildren, Damon, Thomas, Megan, Thaddeus, Ian, Isaac, Liam, Matrim, Nolan, Oaken, Phaedryn, Qeleigh, Corey, Lennon, Paislie, and Oakley; sister, Viann Morgan; brothers, Kenneth, Claude (Audell), Vaughn (Patsy), and Avery Bunch; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Pa was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda, in 1991; son, Ron; sisters, Evelyn Wilson, Alline Dilbeck, and Cleda Lane; brother, Roy Bunch; and great-grandson, Lukas.
Though he will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing he has been welcomed into Heaven, hearing the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff who provided outstanding care for "Ralphie" at Court House Manor in his final years.
The family will welcome guests from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Waite Funeral Home in Medina, Ohio. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Waite Funeral Home in Medina. A private family burial service to follow at Freedom Baptist Church in Medina, Ohio. Messages of comfort and support may be sent to Ralph's family at www.waitefuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that acts of kindness be done in Pa's memory—help someone in need, pray for a friend, or lend a hand without expecting anything in return. That is how he would want to be remembered.
