Ramona Burgos Caluya, age 83, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on August 6, 2023. She was born to Juan and Inez (Mendiola) Burgos on August 2, 1940, in Masbate, Philippines. Ramona loved to travel, was an excellent cook, and loved to sing and dance. She was a member of the Association of Philippine Physicians of Ohio Auxiliary, Philippine American Ministry, PAM choir and Fatima Prayer Group.

Ramona is survived by her husband of 59 years, Dr. Claro V. Caluya, Jr; her children, Cecille (Jeff) Harris, Larry Caluya, Czarina "Sandy" (Nick) Caluya-Fini, Candice (Brian) Czosnyka, and Johnny (Jessi Meliza) Caluya; her grandchildren, Bryan Caluya, Malaya Harris, Addy Harris, Hawk Fini, Rocco Fini, Sebastian Czosnyka, and Cora Czosnyka; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded by her parents; her daughter, Pauline Caluya; her brothers, Jesus, Ricardo, and Ramon Burgos; and her sisters, Anita Valencia and Elena Valeriano.

Visitation services will be Friday, August 11, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, OH 44256. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace, 1088 Ridge Rd., Hinckley, OH 44233. Father Bill Smith will be officiating.
