Randy Bernard
Blevins
March 5, 1964 – April 23, 2026
Randy Bernard Blevins, age 62, passed away on April 23, 2026. He was born on March 5, 1964, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Randall and Bonnie (Carr) Blevins, and later made his home in Sharon Township.
Randy is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy; his cherished sons, Jacob (Veronica) and Garrett (Baylie) Blevins; and his treasured grandchildren, Troy and Taya Blevins. He is also survived by his dear siblings, Amy (Doug) Mosley, Kevin (Brenda), and Chris. Randy was preceded in death by his sister, Terri.
Randy was an avid animal lover and found great joy in the companionship of pets throughout his life. He was a devoted fan of all Cincinnati sports and the Cleveland Indians, and rarely missed the opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams. One of his greatest passions was coaching youth baseball, where he spent many years mentoring young athletes and creating lasting memories on and off the field.
He began his career at A. Schulman, Inc., and later dedicated 18 years to the Highland Local School District as a bus driver. In that role, Randy became a familiar and friendly face to countless students, taking pride in safely transporting them each day while brightening their mornings with his kindness and humor.
Randy especially loved spending his summers outdoors, whether relaxing by the campfire or fishing alongside his father, Randall. He also looked forward to the fall season, when he enjoyed hiking with his wife, Nancy, during the annual hiking spree, making memories together in the beauty of the changing leaves. Those simple moments brought him immense happiness and became some of his most cherished memories.
Above all, Randy will be remembered for his warm heart, his easygoing nature, and the love he had for his family and friends. He had a way of making others feel welcome and valued, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home in Medina. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.waitefuneralhome.com .
