Randy Moore, age 70, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born in Pulaski, Virginia, on August 25, 1946, to the late Jessie Willard and Lena Ruth (Smith) Moore. Randy honorably served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and he was employed with Medina Auto Parts for over 50 years. He loved church and attended the Litchfield Assembly of God for many years; more recently he has been attending the Lafayette United Methodist church with his wife. Randy loved working in the yard and enjoyed going to the beach in Florida. Most of all, he cherished his family. Randy is survived by his wife of 50 years, Donna Kay (Garvin) Moore; children Amy (Bryan) Starman, Mike (Wendy) Moore, Adam (April) Moore; grandchildren Bryanna, Maryssa, and Cory Starman, CJ and Piper Moore, Jarred and Austin Moore; siblings Mary Huff, Bernice Offmiss, Guy (Lottie) Moore, Clyde (Mary Ann) Moore, Ray (Linda) Moore, and Glenna R. Dolamore. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. Pastor Brian Amstutz will officiate. Interment with military honors will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville. The family will receive friends from 4-8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 6 at the funeral home.
