Ray A. Mann, age 55, of Medina, Ohio passed away May 4, 2018 after a short battle with cancer.
Ray was born on September 7, 1962 in Akron, Ohio. He was a sports enthusiast, traveling to
many sporting events including watching his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes, Super Bowls and
NASCAR races. He and his friends would visit family and others along the way. After an early
retirement as Vice President of Operations at Tobacco Road, convenience stores, he returned to
the family farm. Where he took great pride in the improvement and upkeep of the grounds and
buildings with his dog Charley. Ray had a caring and giving heart, as many family and close
friends would see in his daily care for his mother, Evelyn.

Ray is survived by his mother Evelyn (Garrett); brother Rex (Mary Jo) Mann; sister LaRee
Mann; nephews Clayton and Thomas Mann, and Jeff McElwain, Jr.; and niece Michelle Morgan.
He is preceded in death by his father Ellett Mann.

A memorial gathering for Ray will be held Friday May 11, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at Waite and Son
Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St. Medina.
