Raymond
Fetcenko
May 19, 1937 – March 23, 2026
Raymond Fetcenko, age 88, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026.
Born in Rush Township, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Werba) Fetcenko. Raymond proudly served his country in the United States Navy before beginning a long and dedicated career as an auto body assemblyman with Ford Motor Company, where he worked for 30 years.
Raymond married the love of his life, Barbara (Supko) Fetcenko, and together they shared more than 62 wonderful years of marriage, building a strong and loving family. He was a man of many talents and interests. A skilled woodworker, Raymond found joy in crafting small wooden cars for others. He was also known as a "backyard bodyman," always working with his hands and helping those around him. He loved camping and traveling across the country with his family, creating lasting memories along the way.
A devoted member of Archangel Michael Orthodox Church, Raymond's faith was an important part of his life. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his beloved great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.
In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his nine brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; his daughters, Michelle (David) Meadows and Pamela Fetcenko; his grandchildren, Timothy (Kaylee) and Elizabeth (Nyles); and his great-grandchildren, Dean and Kennedy. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., with the Funeral Service immediately following at 10:00 a.m. at Archangel Michael Orthodox Church, 5025 E. Mill Road, Broadview Heights, Ohio 44147.
Raymond will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Archangel Michael Orthodox Church.
