Raymond Jakob, born September 18, 1943, left this world September 24, 2025.

He was the son of Clarence and Maud Jakob and was raised on the west side of Cleveland, graduating from West Tech high school in 1963. In 1976, he moved with his young family to Medina, Ohio and remained there until his passing.

He valued family time and cherished vacations with friends to Canada. He served as a mail carrier most of his adult life, retiring in 2000. He later worked for Medina General Hospital. He was preceded by his parents and son, Douglas Jakob. His wife (Virginia) and son (John) survive him.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 16th & Friday, October 17th from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Waite Funeral Home 765 N Court St. Medina, OH 44256.

Memorial Mass on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 10:00 am in Holy Martyrs Church 3100 Old Weymouth Rd., Medina, OH 44256
