Richard 'Ricky' J. Demeter, 66, of Medina, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025. Ricky was born on February 16, 1959, in Cleveland, OH the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Castle) Demeter.

Ricky was a 1977 graduate of Valley Forge High School. He later obtained his associate's degree in accounting. Ricky loved fishing and hunting. He especially enjoyed fishing and traveled with his fishing boat to many area lakes, mostly fishing out of Sandusky on Lake Erie. He was also a hard core Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians fan as well as the Ohio State Buckeyes.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Demeter of NC; brother, Joseph (Cathy) Demeter III; sister, Susan (Michael) Filip; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Anna Mocia and twin brother, Ronald 'Ronnie' Demeter.
