Richard J.
Mischak
November 23, 1943 – May 14, 2025
Richard 'Dick' Mischak, age 81, passed away on May 14, 2025, in Medina, Ohio. Dick was born on November 23, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Felix and Ann (Hyczwa) Mischak. Dick was a proud member of the Army National Guard for six years. For almost 40 years he, along with his father, Felix Mischak, owned and operated a local industrial delivery company. Dick was a passionate percussionist for most of his life, performing with various groups over the years. Dick was also an avid collector of model rail roads and enjoyed 'tinkering' in his barn. But above all he was devoted to his family. He was a loving husband, proud and loving father, and a loving and devoted grandfather. Dick treasured the time he spent with all of them. He taught lessons of putting family first through his loving example. He will be greatly missed by all.
Dick is survived by his children, Michelle, Melissa (Erich) Limbeck, and Richard S. (Bridget) Mischak; eight grandchildren, Richard M., Samantha, Collin, Patrick, Alexander, Natalie, Katherine (Kevin) Pabst, Mary Lois Limbeck; his only brother, Ralph Mitchell; along with a lifetime of friends and memories.
Dick is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Annetta (Stafinski) Mischak, his parents, Felix and Ann (Hyczwa) Mischak, his grandparents.
