Richard L. Morton, 63, of Medina, went to heaven through his faith in Christ, Saturday, July 17, 2010. He was a retired airline captain and served his country during the Vietnam conflict in the US Air Force. He is survived by his loving wife Karen, daughter Stefanii Ferenczi, son Christopher Morton, 4 grandchildren, sister Linda Simpson of Uhrichsville, Oh, sister Laurel Wertz of Dalton, and brother Robert Morton of N. Canton, OH. Family will receive friends Friday from 5-8 pm at the Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St. Medina, OH 44256. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, 11:00 am at Harvest Presbyterian Church, 1095 E. Reagan Pkwy, Medina. Inurnment with military honors will take place privately at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Medina County Parks, 6364 Deerview Lane Medina or Hospice of Medina County, 797 N. Court St. Medina.
