Richard W. Noll, entered into heaven on his 89th birthday, Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Born on September 2, 1937, to the late Joseph and Helen (nee Novak) Noll. Beloved husband of 55 years to Mary Kay Noll (nee Hughes); father of Linda (Doug) Baker, Donald (deceased) (Sandra) Noll, Jeannine Soster (Kevin Sr.-deceased), Kelly Noll (Frank Slitti), and Matthew Noll (Amie Moore); grandfather of Heather Mattox (Chris), Kyle Baker (Mandi), Adam Pastva (Bailey), Kortney Cannon (Craig),Mark Pastva, Joe Noll (Malia), Kevin Soster Jr. (Channin), Lydia Noll, Jameson Noll, and Ruby Noll; great-grandfather of 10; Host father to exchange students Paul, Melanie, Andres, Suhyun and their families; brother of Mickey Noll. Preceded in death by his brother Jack Noll.
He lived a full and joyful life, finding happiness in golfing, Lake Erie boating and fishing on his Lyman, bowling, snow skiing, traveling, and cheering on his beloved Cleveland sports teams. For over 30 years he was dedicated to his customers in his job of welding equipment sales and safety workshops. He also had a generous heart and a strong commitment to serving others, including volunteering with Special Olympics and transporting patients to their medical appointments with Faith in Action. He found great joy in sharing his faith and serving his church community at St. Francis Xavier Church as a Eucharistic minister and usher. Remembered as a true gentleman and someone who found the most joy in life by spending time with his loved ones, he will be so dearly missed.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E. Washington St., Medina, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Noon at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard’s honor to Special Olympics of Medina County, 4691 Windfall Rd, Medina, OH 44256. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.WaiteFuneralHome.com.
