Richard R. Schirripa's Obituary
Richard R. Schirripa, 74, of Medina, Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in Medina. He was born February 8, 1935 in Cleveland.
Mr. Schirripa was the owner and operator of Sharp Tool Service. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church in Hinckley. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Joanne Schirripa (nee Musacchia); sons, Joseph (Julie) Schirripa of South Carolina, Jeffrey (Peggy) Schirripa of Medina and Richard (Susan) Schirripa, Jr. of Seven Hills; daughter, Laura (Malcolm) Gilbert of Medina; 13 grandchildren; brother, Dr. Dennis Schirripa of Medina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Norma (nee Tollis) Schirripa; and brother, Gary Schirripa
Visitation will be Thursday, April 30, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 2, 2009 at 11 A.M. at Our Lady of Grace Church, 1088 Ridge Road, Hinckley. Fr. William O'Neil will officiate.
Burial will be in Hope Memorial Gardens, Hinckley.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
