Livestream for Rick Shaw's Funeral Service

Rick Shaw, age 65, passed away May 21, 2022. He was born April 8, 1957, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to Damon and Barbara (nee Music) Shaw. He married his childhood sweetheart and the love of his life, Donna nee Holbrook), on October 22, 1977.

Rick adored his family, and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren fed his soul. He was a fantastic cook and enjoyed hosting get-togethers. He also loved gardening and tending to the beautiful flowers around his home. He enjoyed fishing, going to garage sales, and the ocean.

Rick's memory will be cherished by his devoted wife of nearly 45 years, Donna; his children, Jeremy (Savannah) Shaw, Angeli (Aaron) Johnson, and Stephanie Shaw; his treasured grandchildren, Kahlia, Jaylon, and Brinley; his father, Damon Shaw; his siblings, Tim (Mitzi) Shaw and Mindy (David) Howell; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara; his sons, Ryan Shaw and Chad Shaw; and his sister, Laurie Shaw.

The family will welcome guests from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 28 ^th at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 1:00 pm. Rick will be laid to rest at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 31 ^st at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Waverly, OH.
