Ricky James Barnhart age 71, passed away peacefully in his sleep at 12:34 a.m. on Dec. 4th. He was born April 28th 1954 to the phenomenal Beatrice and Eugene Barnhart in Oconomowoc, Wi. Ricky's heart and soul continue to walk this world in his Daughter Erin Lynn, his Son Matthew James, his Son Jacob McDonald, his Daughter Kayla McDonald, Best Friend Teresa Ann Hood, beloved family member Nick Danforth. Siblings Gene and Craig Barnhart, Scott Krueger and Danette Jenson;

He graduated from Medina High School and then onto Kent State. He worked for Ameri-Cal Corp. and then he ended his career with a happy retirement from NeoGraf. His marksmanship was unmatched and he was an avid hunter, fishermen his whole life from Wi to Oh he enjoyed those moments most with close friends or all by himself. He was a lifelong member of the NRA.

He also loved sports football, baseball, bowling, golfing he was also a beloved little league coach for his children.

The sentiments that will most be remembered are the words he said that and the lessons he taught us. "Always remain sharp as a tack and strong as an ox"

A Celebration of Ricky James Barnhart's Life will be observed June 20th, 2026, at 1p.m. at 4678 Sharon Copley Rd. Medina Ohio 44256.
