Rita Ann Miczak, age 83, passed away October 1, 2024. She was born June 3, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Rita was a longtime member of St. Ambrose Catholic Parish in Brunswick, Ohio. She actively participated in the Women's Guild, helped host funeral luncheons, and supported various festivals and ministries at the church.

Rita's memory will be cherished by her children Sherrie Carter and Paul (Maureen) Miczak; grandchildren, Rachel (Michael) Ziman, Kelsey Carter, Jordan (Nathan) Szynal, Madison Carter, Zoe Miczak, Shane Miczak, and Aidan Miczak; and her great-grandson, Albie Louis Ziman. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; parents, Peter Gracon and Wanda Waldrop (nee Kowalski); and brothers, Larry and Kenny.

The family will welcome guests from 3:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:30 am on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at St. Ambrose Catholic Parish, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick. She will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Valley City.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Rita's name to Traditions Health, 677 Alpha Drive, Ste H, Highland Heights, OH 44143.
