Rita Waldtraud Steinke, age 94, of Strongsville, Ohio, passed away on December 6, 2024. She was born to the late Eric and Hilda (Neumann) Bartos on November 7, 1930, in Breslau, Germany. She enjoyed many years as a chef for Sharon Country Club. Rita loved cooking for her family.

Rita is survived by her sons, Harry Steinke (Nancy) and Klaus Steinke (Rose); her grandchildren, Brian (Donna), Daniel, Kurtis, Kristopher, Kevin, Tiffany, and Melanie; her great grandchildren, Emily, Kaitlyn, Faith, Dylan, and Anthony; and her twin sister, Christa. She was preceded by her husband of many years, Alfred Steinke in 2013, and her brother, Roger Bartos.

Family will receive friends on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, OH 44212. Followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
