Robert "Rob" R. Armstrong, age 67, peacefully passed away Saturday, January 4th, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born November 27, 1957, to Robert and Charlotte (nee Otis) Armstrong in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Rob served his country in the US Army for 22 years, including during the Gulf War. He went on to work for Kemps Milk Bottlers in Minnesota. Rob enjoyed Traveling, snowmobiling and fishing. He loved playing Cribbage and Texas Hold 'em, but above all, Rob loved spending time with his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

Left to celebrate Rob's life is his beloved wife, Cheryl; his loving children, Holly (Jimmy-fiancé) Cunningham, John Holcepl, Michael (Venus) Holcepl and David (Jessica) Holcepl; his adorable grandchildren, Grace, Nicolai, Cordelia, Cecelia and Eve; his siblings, Mary Hunt (Gordon – dec'd), James Armstrong, William (Cheryl) Armstrong, Shirley (Billy) Armstrong; and many extended family and friends. Rob is preceded in death by his sibling, Kathy, Steve, Sandy; his parents and first wife, Margaret.

Family will welcome friends from 4 ~ 7pm on Friday, January 17th, 2025, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road in Brunswick with a 'time of sharing' at 6:30pm. Inurnment with military honors will take place at a later date at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 ~or~ American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
