Robert W. Auber, Jr., 81, of Brunswick, passed away September 28, 2024.

He was born in Kalamazoo, MI on January 22, 1943 to Robert W. Sr. and Constance (Behringer) Auber.

Robert is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sharon (Patton); children, Robert Auber, Dennis (Yvonne) Auber, Michael (Melinda) Auber, and Cynthia (Ron) Cole; grandchildren, James, Josh, Michael, Robert, Ryan, Madelyn, Cullen and Kerri; and a great-grandchild, Violet.

He is preceded in death by his brother, William Auber.

Robert will always be remembered as an honest family man who treated everyone better than himself. He had an interest in classic car renovation and was known as a real-life "MacGyver."

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, where funeral services will take place at 12 noon, Friday, October 4th. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Valley City.
