Robert Lee Brooks, 61, passed away on January 21, 2025, in Strongsville, OH.He was born on September 27, 1963 in Lorain, OH to Bacel and Norma (Cogar) Brooks.Robert dedicated over four decades to the paper industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment.

Robert was a man of many passions, including playing guitar, singing with his family, and cooking. He took great joy in mowing the lawn and snow blowing, always seizing the opportunity to be outdoors. A lifelong football enthusiast, he cherished watching games with his son Anthony and never missed a Sunday NASCAR race with his wife, Deborah. He enjoyed watching his son Matthew and Justin pick up the same love for music he had. He loved to watch all of Steve's silly videos and never missed a chance to go for a car ride with Sarah and laughed the entire ride. His love for his wife was profound and enduring, a love we wish to see again in our lifetime. Over 35 years of never-ending obsession with one another.

Above all, Robert was a family man, deeply devoted to his wife, Deborah Brooks, whom he considered his soulmate. His generosity, kindness, and humor touched everyone he knew. He was a loving father to Matthew, Steven, Sarah, Anthony, and Justin, and a doting grandfather to Piper, Josie, and Brooklyn. His life was a testament to love and service to those around him.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister, Donna Brooks; and a son, Joseph Korzan.

Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m., Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212, where funeral services will take place at 7 p.m.
