Robert D. Hirus, age 70, passed away on February 28, 2025. He was born on May 9, 1954, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Nicholas and Lydia Hirus. Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Marilyn; dear children Tanya (Craig) Skubon, Melissa (Steve) Tyukodi, and Alicia (Jordan) Evanko; cherished grandchildren Dailyn Combs, Lucas and Macie Tyukodi, and JR .

Robert was an amazing dad, poppy, and puppy granddad. He had a great memory, memorizing everything, including movie sets from all over. Robert was loved by everyone and will be dearly missed.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Waite Funeral Home in Brunswick, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, OH 44212. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 10a.m., at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Hope Memorial Gardens.
