Robert S.
Jozwiak
March 28, 1953 – January 22, 2026
Robert "Bob" Stephen Jozwiak, age 72, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026. A devoted father, grandfather, and friend, Bob leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, generosity, and quiet kindness.
Bob dedicated more than 40 years to a successful career as a Computer Systems Software Engineer, supporting a variety of financial services and technology organizations. In retirement, he fully embraced giving back, regularly volunteering with Rolling Thunder, Inc., the Northeastern Ohio Live Steamers (NEOLS), and other community organizations and events.
Family and friends meant everything to Bob. He was an exceptionally proud grandfather who treasured time with loved ones and never missed the opportunity to attend his niece and nephew's sporting events. Bob was known affectionately in the neighborhood as "Popsicle Bob" because he handed out treats during the summer months. Famously stubborn yet possessing a heart of gold, he was a lifelong and passionate Ohio State Buckeyes fan, happily bleeding scarlet and gray.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Millie Jozwiak, and his beloved son, Nathan.
He is survived by his son, Nicholas; his grandson, Keaton; his siblings, Richard (Gayle) Jozwiak and Michelle (Paul) Boudreau; as well as numerous extended family members and many dear friends.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N. Court Street, Medina, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Martyrs Church, 3100 Old Weymouth Road, Medina, Ohio. Please meet at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome at Disabled American Veterans at https://ohiodav.org or Rolling Thunder at www.rollingthunder1.com .
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
