ROBERT "Bob" J. KUENZEL, age 77 of Medina, Ohio; passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Beloved husband of 55 years to Louise Kuenzel (nee Liebtag); loving father of Michelle Stone (Bill), Michael Kuenzel (Dana), and Matthew Kuenzel (Karen); cherished grandfather of Adam Stone, Jack and Julia Kuenzel, and Benjamin Kuenzel;  dear brother of Donna O'Neill and Kathy Pohlhammer (Jeff); and caring uncle to many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Agatha Kuenzel; and brother-in-law, Kevin O'Neill.

Bob proudly served the Cleveland Police Department for 30 years as a police officer and detective; ending his career in the homicide unit. Upon his retirement from Cleveland, he served with the U.S. Marshals in Cleveland and Akron.

Bob was an avid Cleveland sports fan. His favorite pastime was cheering on the Guardians.  He enjoyed gardening and spent countless hours in the yard. However, his favorite thing to do was spend time with his family and grandchildren. Bob will be most remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his selflessness, and his devotion to his family.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Waite Funeral Home 765 N Court St., Medina, OH 44256.
