Robert E. Sandy, 93, of Brunswick, passed away August 2, 2025.

He was born in Dayton on October 21, 1931 to James and Marybelle (Subler) Sandy.

Robert is survived by his loving children, Terry (Fred) Pollock, Michael (Renee) Sandy, Jill (Joe) Ognibene, and Kellie (James) Barna; cherished grandchildren Kristopher, Brandon, Michael, Holly, Anthony, Elliott, Josilynn, and Mikey; treasured great-grandchildren Kendall, Sydney, Levi, Cooper, Charlotte, Cecilia, Michael, Louella, Lucas, Elliott, and Myles.

Preceding him in death was his beloved wife, Nancy; his parents; and a brother, James Sandy.

Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He will always be remembered for his witty sense of humor.

Friends and family may call on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 6-8 p.m., with a service at 7:30 p.m., at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick. Committal services will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville. Please meet at funeral home for procession at 9:30 a.m.
