Robert "Bob" Leland Williams, age 60, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2019 after fighting pancreatitis.  He had received a double lung transplant in August, 2015 which added happy years to his life.  He was born in Medina, Ohio, on October 10, 1958, to Geraldine and Clarence Williams.

Bob is survived by his loving wife Karla, of 30 years; sons Robert (Michelle) and Ryan whom he loved dearly; sisters Carol Bailey, Connie (Jesse) Peters, Donna (Lester) Metro, and Rella of West Virginia; God-daughter Briana Princehorn and Briana's parents Andrea and Todd Princehorn; and many nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and maternal grandmother Georgia Sine.

Bob worked many years at Formrite Tube Co. as a machinist and a short time at PAR industries.  His favorite job was working at Medina Hardware.  Afterwards he worked at Medina Metro Housing until he became ill in 2004.

He will especially be remembered for his friendliness, kindness and his devotion to family.  He really enjoyed helping others, woodworking and could fix just about anything. Bob's devotion to his family will be cherished by them forever.

A funeral service will be held Friday, February 22, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 3355 Medina Rd. in Medina.  The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until time of service at 4:30 p.m. at the church.  A burial will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery on Saturday, February 23 at 1:00 p.m. (Please meet at Waite and Son Funeral Home by 12:30 p.m. for procession).
