Ronald "Ron" Ray, age 92, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026, in Mentor, Ohio.  He was born on June 23, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio.  Ron lived a full and meaningful life dedicated to his family, career and passions.

A proud graduate of Rhodes High School in Cleveland, Ron furthered his education by attending The Ohio State University.  He went on to build a remarkable career with the Ford Motor Company's Cleveland Casting Division, where he worked diligently for 42 years before retiring.  His commitment and work ethic were evident throughout his professional life.

Ron was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle.  He shared a loving marriage with his late wife Marian, who passed away in 2014, and they cherished time they spent together raising their family.  He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey and Corinne Ray; grandsons Tyler Ray (Morgan), Brandon Ray (Leah) and Evan Buchholz; granddaughter Emily Ray; and his great granddaughter Ava Ray. He also leaves behind his nephews Carson and Cassidy Talaga, Benjamin, Nathaniel and Matthew Ray;  Theresa and Katherine Ray; and his son-in-law Scott Buchholz.

Ron's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.  May his legacy bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
