Ronald Anthony Sgro, 72, of Richfield, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 15, 2021, at home surrounded by his family.  He was born November 4, 1948, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late William and Josephine (nee Mack) Sgro.  Ron founded and operated Innovate IT, a healthcare tech company.  He was a longtime member of Grace Baptist Church, sat on several boards including the Ginn Academy of Cleveland, and was an advisor to ROTOM- Reach One Touch One Ministry in Uganda.  Ron was a wonderful advocate of missions and missionaries.  He and his wife Shana helped to revitalize an entire community through the World Concern Outreach in Chad, Africa.  Through Deep Streams Ministry in Buena Vista, Guatemala, they helped to build a school, add classrooms, and a soccer field.  Above all, he truly loved the Lord Jesus and wanted to serve Him with his life.  Ron loved people and wanted to help others make a difference in their lives and future.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of many years, Shana; his beloved children, Zach Sgro (Kristin), Beth Silvis, and Heath Turner; his cherished grandchildren, Kenny, Gracie, Eva, and Judson. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, William Sgro.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 10:00 am to Noon at Grace Baptist Church, Laurel Road, Brunswick, OH 44212.  A funeral service for Ron will follow at Noon at the church.  He will be laid to rest privately at Fairview Cemetery in Richfield, OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ron's memory may be made to Grace Baptist Church Missions fund. Online condolences and memories of Ron may be left at www.WaiteFuneralHome.com
