Rose Marie Miktuk (nee Carlton), age 93, passed away on February 19, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Brunswick, Ohio. She was born November 14, 1931, to the late Corte and Pearl (nee Grabenstetter) Carlton.

Rose was the devoted wife of Robert Miktuk for 71 years. She was a loving mother to Karen (Joseph) Lipovits and Elaine Miktuk (deceased). Rose was a cherished grandmother to Nicole (Rick) Lang, Brian (Reilly) Lipovits, and Mark Lipovits, and a proud great-grandmother to Amelia Rose and Carter.

Rose was a longtime member of Brunswick United Methodist Church. She was a wonderful caregiver to her handicapped daughter for 39 years. She enjoyed reading and traveling, but most importantly, she cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will welcome guests from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 10:00 am on Friday, February 28, 2025. Rose will be laid to rest at Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick.
