In Loving Memory of Rowan Arbor Dubrava
(aka Draven Block)
February 11, 2003 - June 16, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved Rowan on June 16, 2026, at the age of 23. Rowan was the daughter of Melissa (David) Dubrava, granddaughter of Sue Bennett, loving sister to Jasmine and Gwen, and aunt to her sweet niece, Ruby. She was the committed and devoted partner to Alizabeth Ratliff, and mom to her fur son, Prince. She was preceded into heaven by her grandfather, Charles Bennett.
Rowan was a bright light throughout our community. Their infectious smile, positive energy, love of sharing random facts, and genuine kindness made a lasting impact on everyone they met. Rowan had a way of making your day a little better. Rowan was incredibly intelligent, empathetic, and understanding. They were loving, kind, and full of an infectious joy that touched everyone around them. Rowan was a hard worker who was an avid D&D player, gamer, and reader. They loved Legos, crafts, and was incredibly artistic and creative. She loved and was loved deeply and eternally.
Rowan’s kindness, laughter, and spirit will never be forgotten.
Their humor can be summed up like this:
“If every pork chop was perfect, we wouldn’t have hot dogs” - Steven Universe
And they lived their life like this:
“Out here I can hear your heartbeat, I can hear the start of a long sigh
I can hear the song of the robin, I haven't wrote my own in a long time
And it's just fine.” - Noah Kahan, “We Go Way Back” (The Great Divide, 2026)
