Ruby I. Smith, age 90, passed away on January 9, 2025. She was born on April 9, 1934, to the late Doss and Laura Wills. Ruby is survived by her beloved children Becky (Bob, deceased) Callahan, Louis Allen (Tonya), Blanche (Dale, deceased) Buckles; dear grandchildren Jan (Tamara), Angie, Tyler (Danielle); great-grandchildren Jamie, Harper, Winnie, and Otto; bonus step grandma; treasured sister Lois; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ruby is preceded in death by her husband William, son William Marshall, and 11 siblings.

Ruby was an amazing cook. She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Cavs and Guardians in her free time. Ruby deeply loved her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 3-5pm at Waite Funeral Home in Medina. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 11am at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Spring Grove Cemetery. Please dress as if you were stopping by to see Ruby.
