Ruth Graves went home to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully on May 29, 2024.
She was the daughter of Frank & Anne (Bozik) Janota, and a proud resident of Medina County for 49 years. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and GG. She attended St. Francis Xavier Church, loved spending time laughing with her family, thoroughly loved the companionship her dogs brought her in life and was an avid Brown's fan. She also loved supporting the Wadsworth Grizzlies sports teams, square dancing with friends, and enjoying music of many genres, from Elvis to Guns & Roses. She very much enjoyed attending events, and you could always find her impeccably dressed for the festivals, picnics, band concerts and football games she attended with family. Ruth will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

She is survived by her four daughters, Rose (Darrel) Smith, Sue Stachnik, Barb (Rex) Demczyk, and Sharyn (Alan) Sparks; her grandchildren, Nicole Smith, Lisa (Joe) Mauser, Leah Sawyers, Kyle Sawers, Travis (Holly) Demczyk, Joe (Jenny) Demczyk, Andy(Amada) Demczyk; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Ava, Abby, Ben, Tyler, Audrey, AJ and Annabelle.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Stachnik, whom she shared many good memories with while raising their daughters including sharing wonderful family meals, camping together and boating on Lake Erie, many family memories were made and will be cherished by her daughters. She is also preceded in death by her beloved second husband, Jack Graves. Ruth and Jack were always busy attending family events, square dancing their weekends away, and laughing together as they chased their basset hound, Dudley, around the yard.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 11:00 to 12:30 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, Ohio 44256. A funeral service will immediately follow calling hours at 12:30 p.m. Ruth will be laid to rest privately at St. Francis Xaiver Cemetery in Medina, Ohio.
