Ruth Darlene Lunt (née Green), age 89, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026.

Loving mother of Elaine (Rick) Bednar, Robert (deceased) (Linda), Cynthia (Behram) Divecha, Thomas (Christine), Jeffrey (Brenda) and Claudia Evans. Birth mother of Ellie Omahen Rickard (the loving daughter of Leopold and Fani Omahen). Grandmother to Rick (Jennifer), Matthew (Amy), John, Heather (Patrick), Adrian (Jordan), Joshua, Kevin, Shaun, Violett (Joshua), Ryan, Megan, Erin, Ethan, Shayna, Avrey, Anthony, Arianna, Annamarie, and Dominic. Great-grandmother of Summer (Luke), Morgan (Shane), Jadan, Addison, Joseph, Zander, Zoey, George, Logan, Norah, Alyssa (Trenton), Emilee (Paul), Cody, Jordan, Daisy, Jermond, Ariana, and Gianna. Great-great-grandmother to Ryker, Braxton, Christopher, Teagan, Raelynn, Prince, and Legend. Dear sister-in-law of Joan Lunt. Treasured aunt, great-aunt, and friend to many. Ruth appreciated and loved her caregivers at JAG Burbank Parke, especially Pattie and Alicia.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Robert Lunt; her parents, Delsie Lillian and Robert Armit Green; siblings, of Betty (George), Gloria (Virgil), and Duane (Donna);

Ruth grew up in Springfield, Ohio, moved to Cleveland when she met and married her husband, and lived the past thirty years in Medina, Ohio. She would tell everyone that her greatest love and accomplishment was her family. She loved Bingo, gambling, pets, and watching Cleveland sports. She will be missed by her friends and family.

Family and friends will be received on FRIDAY JULY 10th FROM 5-8 P.M. AT WAITE FUNERAL HOME, 765 N. COURT ST., MEDINA, OH 44256. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 11th at the funeral home with burial to follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
