Samuel Francis Royer, age 73, passed away on May 29, 2026. He was born on September 3, 1952, to the late Howard and Virginia Royer. Samuel is survived by his beloved wife, Mary; treasured children, Michael (Megan) Royer, Michelle (Phil) Mercio, and Andy Royer; many cherished grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and many dear siblings.

Samuel is preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Royer, and siblings.

Samuel was a proud United States Army Veteran. He loved all things muscle cars, especially his yellow corvette, and singing and playing music. Samuel also enjoyed watching sports and hanging out in the barn. Most importantly, he was passionate about his family and spending time with them. He will be dearly missed by all.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home in Medina and on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the funeral home from 9:30-10:30 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 9608 Norwalk Road, Litchfield, OH 44253.
