Bazemore
September 29, 1941 – October 2, 2024
Sandra L. Bazemore, age 83, went home to be with the Lord on October 2, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on September 29, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Arthur and Viola (Ness) Sutton.
Sandra was an active member at Weymouth Community Church. Her creative interests included sewing, quilting and using her skills to meet the needs of others all over the world. One of her greatest joys was crafting and creating with her beloved grandchildren. She loved learning almost anything new and was curious about others lives till the end. She was happiest spending time surrounded by her beloved family and friends. A loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A 40yr resident of Hinckley, Sandra was actively involved in the school PTA and served as president. Later she worked, as needed, assisting the Superintendent's office. She also played a very active role in the Buzzard Day celebrations and other community events as able while raising her three boys.
Sandra is survived by her sons, Mark (Mindy) Bazemore, Matthew (Debra) Bazemore, Michael (Caryn) Bazemore; grandchildren, Hannah, Luke, Emma, Madeline, Kaelyn, and Hudson Bazemore; her brother Brad (Becky) Sutton; along with a lifetime of dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, William M. Bazemore (2016); her parents, and brother, James Sutton.
A Celebration of Sandra's Life will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, October 12th, 2024, at Weymouth Community Church, 2756 Stony Hill Road, Medina, OH 44256. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 9-10 at the church.
A private family interment will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Bill.
