Obituary

SANDRA ZUENGLER ROBSON, age 90, went home to be with Jesus and loved ones who had gone on ahead on October 14, 2026, at home. Sandy lived most of her life Brunswick except for her college years which were spent at Long Beach State College, in California; however, she saw much of the world through her travelling, including all 50 of the United Stated and over 30 countries worldwide. Her very favorite place of all was the Galapagos Islands in South America. Besides travelling, she enjoyed reading, watching movies, all animals and warm summer days. She liked to write—letters, poetry, stories, and travel articles, some of which were published in travel magazines.

Friends and family were the center of her life. Sandy is survived by beloved children: Jennie Robson (Greg Loper) of Columbus, Jessica (Dave) Chapman of Virginia and John (Janell) Robson of North Ridgeville; Grandchildren Kendall (Zach) McCullough, Courtney (Josh) Braunbeck, Sophia Robson and Joseph Robson; Great grandchildren Tally and Marceline McCullough and one baby Braunbeck on the way; and dear sister Sally Ingmanson of California and many other nieces and nephews. Our lives are diminished by her passing, but we forever enriched for having known her because she was always ready with a helping hand and a hearty laugh. Loved ones who went on ahead include her husband of 40 years, Wayne, and her parents Henry and Willia (Johnson) Zuengler.

Sandy spent most of her adult life working with children. She adored her own children and enjoyed their company on many of her travels. She was a 4-H advisor for many years and worked for the Brunswick City Schools as a teacher, secretary, and educational aide. Since her retirement from the school system, she enjoyed playing the euphonium in two different Community bands with a highlight being performing in Tuba Christmas in Severance Hall.

In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be sent to Kitten Krazy Inc, 930 Lafayette Road, Medina Ohio 44256. A private burial ceremony will be held by the family at Westview Cemetery, Brunswick, Ohio.
