Scott Louis Connell, age 63, of Spencer, Ohio, passed away on December 27, 2024. He was born on November 23, 1961, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Louis Arthur Connell and Marcia Mae.

Growing up at the farm, Scott developed a deep love for the land, a passion that stayed with him throughout his life. He loved working on things around the farm, including tractors, lawn mowers, boats, and much more. He also found great joy in working on vehicles, a passion that began at the Medina County Career Center, where he studied auto body repair and finishing. It was there he found himself using the fire extinguisher in the hallways for fun, which got him into a bit of trouble. Later in life, Scott fulfilled his dream of purchasing the farm to raise his own children. He dedicated 28 years to his career as a proud member of Local 17 Ironworkers. He was passionate about his work and found joy in life's simple pleasures, including fishing, hunting, and enjoying rock music while partying with friends.

Scott is survived by his children, Ashely Connell, Matthew Connell, and Curtis Connell; his siblings, Michael and Kim; along with many cousins and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Arthur and Marcia; his brother William Connell; and his sister Kelly Connell.

The family will receive friends from 2-4:00 pm, Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, OH 44256. A celebration of life will immediately follow at 4:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
