Sharon L. Edling, age 81, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on January 30, 2025. She was born to the late Maynor "Bud" Emerson and Layola "Sally" (Wonder) Krugman on March 13, 1943, in Lorain, Ohio. Sharon loved birds and reading when she wasn't tending to her various plants and flowers in the garden. During her lifetime, she ventured to almost all 50 states along with two foreign countries while traveling with late husband, Elmer, and his career with IBM.

Sharon is survived by her children, Kelly Felton (Scott) and Troy Edling (Deborah); her granddaughters, Emily Gabalski (Tyler) and Sara Felton; and her brother, Jack Krugman.  She was also expecting to welcome her first great grandchild. She is preceded by her husband of 58 years, Elmer Edling in 2020; her son, Todd Edling; and her sister-in-law, Lori Krugman.

Family will receive friends on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, OH 44256 followed by the funeral service. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Medina Center Cemetery in Medina, Ohio.
