Sharon Elder, 65, of Medina, passed away quiet & peacefully in her sleep on July 5, 2009.

She was born July 27, 1943 in Cleveland

She was a graduate of Nazareth Academy. Sharon worked for the Medina County Achievement Center and Medina County Auditor's Office until she retired in 2004. She was also the past treasurer and member of the Medina Eagles Auxiliary.

Sharon enjoyed most of all entertaining her 4 grandchildren, shopping, & numerous crafting projects.

Sharon was the loving wife of Jim Elder for 46 years, loving mother of Jim (Kim) Elder and Michael (Jenny) Elder

Grandchildren—Samantha, Brandon, Sarah Rose, & Olivia Grace

She also leaves behind her Aunt Margie Caco of Rocky River, brother Pat Harney of Medina, and sister Carol Harney of Medina, along with many nieces and nephews who enjoyed picnics and parties at her home.

Preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Susanne (Nee Caco) Harney.

Memorial Services: Thursday, 10:00 am

Place: Waite & Son Funeral Home, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St.

Burial: Private at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery

Visitations: Wednesday, 2-4 and 6-8 pm
