Sheila Ann Clapper

December 13, 1939 — May 30, 2026

Sheila was born in Wooster, OH, the oldest of six children. She was a caregiver most of her life, caring for her younger siblings, parents, husband, and many children she enjoyed babysitting. Sheila was known for her banana bread, potato salad, and hosting and entertaining in her home.

She is survived by her three children, Christine (Tony), Chuck (Patty), and Carl (Tiffny); sisters Karen, Cheryl (Allan); sisters-in-law, Jane and Vickie; and 14 nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her two very special granddaughters, Julia and Ella, who gave her the joy of being “Grams.”

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce; parents Melville and Ruby Eberhart; brothers, Earl, Dennis, and Kenneth; nephew, Scott; and brother-in-law, Dennis.

A graveside service will take place at 11:30 am on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, 2869 Grafton Road, Brunswick, OH. Please meet at the cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made in Sheila’s name to the Medina Camp of Gideons International at P.O. Box 1063, Medina, OH 44258, or your local animal shelter.
